Is ur name unique ? d u also have this identity problem..This world is full of vinoth...always i had minimum 2 to maximum 4 in my class with my name whether it is ncc or scouts or nss or school or college...i bet u have seen atlest 5 vinoth in ur life....it is irritating when someone asks  whether  u are vinoth 1 or vinoth 2..that’s why i changed  it to win-oath(www.win-oath.blogspot.com) nowdays to be unique in online…

D u know the accurate meaning of vinoth ? i never found this answer.....can u find ?

Hi Vinoth,

Good choice of blogspot name. However, never blame any name, it's just a blind run made by most of our seniors towards keeping the same name again and again. And this culture still haven't moved.

May be what you could do is to keep your child an Unique Name, that's how I have started, a silent revolution. But there are mixed responses from others, but never mind, the name should be unique. I was too lucky in getting a unique name.

And as far the meaning of your name is concerned it's "Fun" "Happiness" etc.,

You see in India, the name is Vinod, and there also it is a very common name. Typically South Indians use 'th' in the end of the name. I have observed that sometimes, a north Indian name ending in 't' or 'd' and a similar south Indian name ending in 'th' have different meaning altogether. Any way the name 'Vinod' means 'Happy, Full of Joy'
